 Matthew A. Yeakey
Contact Me  Matt joined Sanders Pianowski, LLP as an associate in 1990 and has been a partner since 1998. He received degrees from the University of Notre Dame (B.A., with honors, 1987) and Indiana University School of Law -- Indianapolis (J.D., 1990).
Matt's practice is concentrated in civil litigation matters, focusing on all aspects of family law, including divorce, guardianships and adoptions, creditors' rights, insurance, commercial disputes and personal injury claims. He has particular expertise and extensive experience in significant asset divorce cases, asserting the rights of mobile home parks and credit institutions and representing businesses in commercial disputes. As part of his civil litigation practice, Matt has represented individual and business clients throughout Northern Indiana.
His professional affiliations include the American Bar Association, the Indiana State Bar Association, and the Elkhart City Bar Association, where he has served as chairman of various committees. Matt is a member and past President of the Elkhart Noon Kiwanis Club, longtime Board Member of the Indiana Lakeland Girl Scout Council, current Board Member of ETHOS (Encouraging Technology and Hands On Science), and he has served on his Church's Finance Committee for more than 10 years. Matt, his wife, Julie and their three children live in Elkhart County. |
